Helder Bataglia, is an entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience in Sub-Saharan Africa including countries such as Angola, both Congos, South Africa and Mozambique.

From his high profile professional career it should be highlighted his role as founder and CEO of Escom, a company formed in 1993 in partnership with Espírito Santo Group and his role as founder and Director of Banco Espírito Santo Angola. Helder is also a founding member of "Apoiar África" NGO.
Helder has led investments in Sub-Saharan Africa in excess of UDS 1 billion in various sectors such as agriculture, aviation, construction, mining, fishing and real estate. Before founding Escom, Helder´s main professional projects were developed from 1980 to 1987 in Algeria and from 1987 to 1990 in Russia.
